Special Notification of Single Prime Projects
In July 2011, legislation was presented through SB 1352 which gives CDB the ability to use single prime project delivery method on projects of $15 million or more when considered to be in the best interest of the state.

An outreach program to familiarize contractors, designers and suppliers with bidding opportunities under the Illinois Jobs Now! capital construction program will be held Friday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Western Illinois University Quad Cities Riverfront Campus, Room A101, at 3300 River Drive in Moline. The program is free and open to anyone interested in working on state-funded construction projects, and no advance reservations are required. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

Governor Quinn Announces More Than $623 Million in Capital Funds for School Districts Statewide
HAZEL CREST – February 16, 2012. Governor Pat Quinn today announced that Illinois school districts statewide will receive more than $623 million from Illinois Jobs Now! to construct new buildings or expand existing ones. This capital funding will provide vital classroom space while supporting an estimated 4,000 construction jobs throughout the state. More>>

Governor Quinn extends Single Prime pilot program an additional four years
Illinois Governor Pat Quinn on July 22, 2011 signed Senate Bill 1352, which extends the Capital Development Board’s Single Prime pilot program an additional four years and allows more funding to be devoted to single prime projects. The legislation became effective immediately. More>>

To participate on any CDB project as a subcontractor, supplier or in any capacity you must have a CDB REGISTRATION #.
If you are currently or have ever been prequalified with CDB your firm has been assigned a registration number.
